DEPARTMENT ROLE
The role of Account Leadership is to understand the client’s business and performance better than anyone, ask the pertinent questions to get better information and digest it and disseminate it in a way that will allow the other departments to develop their role with purpose.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Supervisor (SUP) is responsible for the day-to-day management of their assigned accounts and reports directly to the SVP, Managing Director.  The SUP effectively executes strategies, problem-solves, and develops strong working relationships at all levels within the agency and with the day-to-day client.  Additionally, they support their supervisors in identifying and developing marketing and business opportunities for the agency and our client-partners. They also plan, coordinate and/or direct initiatives for agency client-partners either directly or through direct reports, serving as lead on key campaigns, working with internal cross-discipline team members and external client personnel to develop and implement programs and initiatives in support of our client-partners’ businesses.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand agency and client-partner businesses beyond the fundamentals, including but not limited to intimate knowledge of their products, how they operate financially, business mix, place in category, competitors, etc.
  • Ability to take over the entire process of a campaign development from start to finish, coordinating the internal teams and Clients alike.
  • Work collaboratively with the IAT (Integrated Agency Team) members to ensure projects and assignments are done on time and with the highest standards.
  • Recognize trends on assigned brands that could positively or negatively impact the business and recommends solutions for optimization and/or mitigation of issues
  • Participate in client meetings and lead as necessary.
  • Lead select projects from development of Brief, to Creative concepting, to securing of Legal clearances, to selling in of work, to Production and delivery; ensure that assignments are delivered on strategy, on schedule and on budget
  • Proactively track scopes to identify out-of-scope and opportunistic initiatives.
  • Lead team in tracking monthly financials including but not limited to budget tracker maintenance, job management, estimating and invoicing.
  • Responsible for timesheet management and hours tracking of accounts to which they are assigned
  • Other relevant duties as assigned
     
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 4 years of advertising experience.
  • Experience participating in or supervising creative productions. High level of knowledge of the Creative and Production processes including but not limited to TV, Social, Digital, Radio and Print (including POS/Retail and OOH)
  • Ability to be proactive and can work on their own with limited guidance.
  • Ability to multi- task.  This position works on a very fast paced, demanding client that has multiple programs running at the same time.

  • Ability to establish core relationships with key clients and agency counterparts across disciplines to efficiently function within the advertising agency eco-system
  • Curious and proactive in seeking business opportunities and creative and strategic solutions.
  • Ability to drive competitive and industry trend reports on a regular basis as agreed upon with client-partners; lead client-facing communication and trending reports.
  • Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively and manage communications to all organizational levels
